Mysuru: House burglars, who gained entry into a house by cutting the window grills, have decamped with gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from the house yesterday.

The burglary took place at the house of Navy Commander Mahendra Singh, near VTU College, coming under Mysuru Rural Police limits.

Mahendra Singh’s wife had locked the house yesterday morning and had gone out. The burglary came to light when she returned home in the evening. A case has been registered at Mysuru Rural Police Station in this regard.
