Mysuru: Burglars, who gained entry into a house by breaking open the door, have decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs. 3.5 lakh from the house.
The burglary took place at the house of Moin Taj at Kalyangiri. Moin had left for Mumbai on Jan. 4 and when he returned on Jan. 17, he found the door broken. On inspecting the house, he found gold ornaments, TV, laptop, cell phone and Rs. 5,000 cash all totalling Rs. 3.5 lakh stolen from the house.
Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
