Mysuru: House burglars who gained entry into a locked house in Ramakrishnanagar on Monday, have decamped with gold ornaments worth about Rs. 2.5 lakh from the house. The burglary took place in the house of Srinivasa Rao, a resident of E&F Block in Ramakrishnanagar here.

Srinivasa Rao locked his house and went to a friend’s place in Jayalakshmuipuram along with his wife on Monday morning. When the couple returned in the afternoon, they found the front door forcibly opened and on entering the house, they found about 158 grams gold ornaments and a LED TV stolen and immediately lodged a complaint with Kuvempunagar Police. Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case and are investigating.
