Mysuru: In separate incidents, burglars have decamped with gold ornaments from a house besides making away with plastic plates, steel taps and vessels among other things from Indira Canteen at various Police limits in city.
In the first incident, house burglars, who gained entry into a locked house of one Harish Kumar at Vijayanagar 3rd Stage, broke open the locker in the house and made away with gold ornaments kept inside the locker.
Harish Kumar, on May 19 had gone out of station on some work and the incident came to light when he returned on June 2. Harish then lodged a complaint with Vijayanagar Police.
Vijayanagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
In another case, miscreants, who gained entry into the Indira Canteen at Azeez Sait Nagar after breaking the glass door, have made away with various kitchen utensils from the canteen on June 4 night.
The miscreants have made away with eight steel taps, eight steel ladle, four steel vessels and 80 plastic plates from the canteen.
The whole incident has been caught on camera installed in the canteen and the miscreants have damaged the CCTV monitor and have thrown it outside, according to the Police.
The manager of the Indira Canteen has filed a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station, in this regard.
