Mysuru: House items worth Rs.25,000 were destroyed in a fire caused by short circuit at a house belonging to Chinnaswamy located on sixth main road at Hanumanthanagar in city yesterday, according to Bannimantap Fire Officer Shivaswamy.
Upon receiving the information, Fire personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
The Fire Department personnel Dhananjay, Manjunath, Ravishankar, S. Puttasubba, R.S. Mahesh and others took part in the operation.
