Houses burgled in city

Mysuru:  In separate cases, miscreants, who broke into two houses at Kuvempunagar and Hebbal in city, have decamped with gold jewellery and silver articles worth lakhs of rupees from the houses.

In the first case, burglars, who gained entry into a house at Kuvempunagar C&D Block by removing the iron rods of the windows, have decamped with 337 gold jewellery and 260 grams silver articles on Tuesday.

The burglary took place at the house of one Govindaraju. He along with his family had gone out on some work on Tuesday morning when the burglary took place.

A case has been registered at Kuvempunagar Police Station in this regard.

In the second case, burglars who entered a locked house at Hebbal 2nd Stage have decamped with 100 grams gold jewellery from the house on Tuesday.

Shwetha, the house owner had gone out along with her husband Charanraj when the burglary took place. Hebbal Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
