Mysore/Mysuru: Housing Minister V. Somanna will tour the district tomorrow (Nov.13). He will arrive atop Chamundi Hill at 8.30am and offer prayers at the hill temple. Later he will address a press meet on the progress of housing schemes, at the Government Guest House in Nazarbad at 9 am and visit Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 10 am. Then he will proceed to Yelwal to distribute Santwana (Compensatory) sites to land owners who have parted with their land for KRS Nisarga Layout at 11am.
Later, he will inspect the house construction works undertaken by Slum Development Board at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Colony at 2.30 pm, following which he will leave for Nanjangud to inaugurate houses built by SMP Developers at Mahalakshmi Layout at 3.30 pm. Somanna will leave for Srirangapatna at 4pm, according to a press release.
