Mysore/Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha inaugurated the vaccination drive for members of Hoysala Karnataka Sangha at the Sangha premises located on N.S. Road in Lakshmipuram here yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Pratap Simha said that following requests from the Sangha office-bearers, the day-long vaccination drive has been launched. 

He appealed the Sangha members to make use of this drive and get themselves vaccinated for their own health, safety and well-being.

Recalling the service rendered by the Sangha, especially in the fields of Science and Technology, he said that many noted personalities such as acclaimed writer and Sarawathi Samman awardee Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa  of Mysuru and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya belong to the community.

Several doctors including Dr. Aiyappa, Dr. Shivashankar, Dr. Mohan Kumar, Dr. Ravindra, Dr. Bhargav, Dr. Vidyashankar, Dr. Anand, Dr. Anitha Valleesh and Dr. Mahdev Prakash, who are serving as Corona Warriors, were felicitated on the occasion.

MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, Hoysala Karnataka Sangha President K.R. Sathyanarayan, Vice-President Sundaresh, office-bearers Srinivas, Ranganath,  Jayashankar, Shankarnarayan, Sandhya, Anupama, Varsha, Rakesh Bhat and others were present.
