Hubli Tigers adopt Tiger at Mysuru Zoo

Mysuru: As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, Hubli Tigers, one of the Karbonn Smart KPL franchises, extended its support for the tiger cause by adopting a tiger for the period of one year.

Hubli Tigers Owners Sushil Kumar Jindal and Abhishek Jindal, along with the team, visited the Mysuru Zoo and handed over a cheque of Rs. One lakh to Zoo Executive Director C. Ravishankar, here this morning.

Speaking to mediapersons, Abhishek Jindal said that the team management was adopting tigers for the past two years and added that it was a small contribution towards saving the tigers which are at the risk of extinction.

 

Later, Zoo Executive Director Ravishankar said that the tiger was adopted as part of Animal Adoption Week conducted by the Zoo every year. He also said that all 12 tigers housed in  the Mysuru Zoo had been adopted by various organisations and individuals.

Zoo Authority of Karnataka Chairperson Mallige Veeresh, Hubli Tigers Captain R. Vinaykumar, Mayank Agarwal, Abhishek Reddy, Praveen Dubey, Media Manager Joseph Hoover and others were present.
