A huge tree got uprooted and fell across the road bringing down power cables along with it near Mission Hospital this morning. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident as it took place in the wee hours of today. As soon as the power lines were snapped, CESC immediately switched off the power supply as a precaution. CESC Assistant Engineer Shivakumar and staff immediately rushed to the spot and the MCC’s Abhaya team led by Shivu also reached the spot and cleared the fallen tree.
