A huge pit filled with water from a leaking pipeline at Vijayanagar High Tension-Vidya Vardhka College Road junction is causing a lot of problems to the public, especially motorists.

A SOM reader, who sent us this photo said that the water is getting filled into the huge pit due to the badly executed pipeline works going on since about eight months.

He also alleged that though the pit is right next to the Water Supply Office, it has failed to attract the attention of the officials concerned. Authorities are urged to take steps to solve the problem at the earliest.
