Mysore/Mysuru: Ever thought of ‘subscribing’ for fresh, cool tender coconut water to be delivered to your house? Yes, you read that right. A group of young entrepreneurs have made it possible in our city.
Called “Coconext,” the company is supplying tender coconut water to Mysureans in a natural, hygienic and most attractive package that even a child can open it with a special kind of opener.
Normally, opening tender coconut at home is a big mess. Making opening simpler, the company will supply to your doorstep the neatly processed tender coconut packed in transparent white biodegradable sheet along with the opener. But to avail this facility, you need to take membership.
K. Nagarjun, Chief Executive Officer, Coconext Private Limited, told Star of Mysore that they have set up 8,000 sq. ft. factory in Hunsur where tender coconuts are processed and packed. Besides, they have opened Coconext Kiosks near Kukkarahalli, Kalidasa Road, Ramakrishnanagar Circle and Bannimantap Road where people can drink freshly packed tender coconut or take away.
Mysureans can subscribe or become members to avail neatly packed tender coconuts in pack of four, once or twice a week at their doorstep. Payment can be made once in a month just like paying a milkman or a paper vendor, said Nagarjun.
“We have opened a Coconext Cafe in Saraswathipuram where coconut-based snacks and drinks are served to customers. Even falooda and ice-cream are served in coconut shells. If people want to savour a variety of coconut-based products, then their search ends in our Cafe,” he noted. For more details visit www.coconext.in.
