Hundreds run for corruption-free India

Mysuru: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Mysuru as part of Vigilance Awareness Week had organised a 5km run in city this morning. The theme of the run was ‘My Vision — Corruption-free India.’

The run was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep at Oval Grounds here. About 500 people participated in the rally wearing white T-shirts sporting the theme.

The participants ran through Maharaja’s College Circle, Fire Brigade, Vishwamanava Double Road, Kukkarahalli lake and back to starting point. HPCL DGM Vasanth Rao, Chief Vigilance Manager Ramakrishna Rao, Mysuru Plant Manager  Ramesh, Senior Chief Manager Vinod Akkal, Corporator Nandish Preetam and others were present.
