Hunsur Dy.SP K.S. Sundar Raj gets President’s Medal

Hunsur: Hunsur Sub-Division Dy. SP K.S. Sundar Raj is  among 38 Police Officers of the State who have bagged the Independence Day President’s Police Medal (2019) for their distinguished service.

Sundar Raj, who was earlier serving as the Dy.SP at Madikeri was recently transferred to Hunsur.

A native of Kollegal in Chamarajanagar district, Sundar Raj joined the Police Department as a PSI in 1994 and served as PSI at Karkala from 1995 to 2001.

After being promoted as a Circle Inspector, he served as Madikeri Rural Circle Inspector from 2001 to 2006 and at Hunsur from 2006 to 2009.

He later served at the Directorate of Human Rights Enforcement from 2009 to 2011, before being posted as T. Narasipur Circle Inspector.

After being promoted as Dy.SP in 2013, he served at Internal Security in Mysuru and Anti-Naxal Force (ANF), before he was posted as Madikeri Dy.SP in 2017. He was recently transferred as Hunsur Sub-Division Dy.SP.
