Hunsur taluk records 2,174 COVID cases in a week

Mysore/Mysuru: The week long’ Vaidyara Nade-Halliya Kade’ (Doctors’ march to villages) initiative of the Government for containing the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, has been a success in Hunsur, with the detection of 2,174 cases in the taluk. 

A team of doctors visited three  villages in the taluk everyday during the week-long initiative, during which a total of 3,469 people with symptoms were tested, out of which 2,174 tested positive for the virus.

Symptomatic patients, who tested positive, have been admitted at the COVID Care Centres set up at Sabbanahalli, Dharmapura and a few other places in the taluk.
