Mysore/Mysuru: Royale Concorde International School (RCIS), Mysuru, celebrated the 74th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervour on Saturday last.
The chief guests, Shivprasad, Chairman, RCIS, Mysuru and Nikhil Shivaprasad, Managing Trustee, escorted by Dr. P. Arokia Raj, Principal and Roopalatha, Director-Academics, hoisted the Tricolour on the occasion.
The National Anthem echoed in the entire campus. After the Anthem, teachers sang patriotic songs Jhanda Uncha Rahega…, Vishwa Vinodini… and Hum Sub Bharatiya Hai… that filled everyone with pure patriotism.
At the end, Dr. Arokia Raj addressed the gathering. Students and their parents watched the event on Facebook Live.
On the occasion, everyone recalled the sacrifices made by the Freedom Fighters who got us Independence and COVID Warriors who are working tirelessly in the fight against the pandemic.
