Ankur Chadha and Kapil Kumar are tied with a score of 4-under-68 and were in the joint lead on the opening day of the ICC RCGC Open Golf Championship-2019, played at the Royal Calcutta Golf Course in Kolkata on Thursday.
The Chandigarh duo of rookie Yuvraj Singh Sandhu and Akshay Sharma as well as Mumbai’s Anil Bajrang Mane were in tied third at three-under-69 on day one of the Rs. 40 lakh event.
Mysuru lad I.L. Aalaap (JWGC) returned with a opening round score of par-72 and is tied and placed 20th in the rankings. Another Mysore golfer M.S. Yashas Chandra (JWGC) had an opening round of three-over-75 and is placed 48th in the rankings.
