Mysuru: The weavers and handloom-related workers have been asked by the Handloom and Textiles Department to register their names to obtain ID cards issued by the Commissioner of Handloom Development, New Delhi.

The ID card will be a valid document to apply for various schemes.

The Karnataka Government has authorised Karvy Data Management Services Ltd., to conduct the census.
