IFS Officer passes away

Mysuru:  Senior IFS Officer Parameshwar (59) passed away in Bengaluru yesterday.

Parameshwar, who held various posts in Mysuru, Bengaluru, Kodagu, Mandya and other districts, had served as the Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) in Mysuru Division and had also served as the In-Charge Executive Director of Mysuru Zoo.

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

As one of his daughters is settled in America, the last rites would be performed in Bengaluru upon her arrival, according to family sources.

The staff of Mysuru Zoo and Aranya Bhavan have condoled the death of Parameshwar.
