Mysore/Mysuru: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), recognised by the Union Ministry of Education and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the highest grade of A++, has invited applications for various courses for the year 2023.
Applications are invited for Post-Graduate (PG) Degree, Degree, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certification courses, says a press release issued by University’s Senior Regional Director Dr. S. Radha.
Students from Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Physically Challenged categories have been given the facility of scholarships and refund of fees. SC/ST students while applying for general B.Com, BA and B.Sc courses can get fee concessions under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP). Eligible students can apply for the scholarships of Union Government and through ‘Vidyalakshmi’ portal, can also avail Education loans.
To submit applications for admissions to be held in July, students can log on https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ and can visit www.ignou.ac.in for complete details.
According to the revised rules of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), direct admissions will be provided for MBA without IGNOU Entrance Exam. IGNOU has started courses like Digital Media, Electronic Media & Development Journalism. Students can select any course of their choice, says the press release issued by the Regional Director.
