Mysore/Mysuru: The II PU supplementary exam got off to a smooth start in the city this morning. The exam is being held at 13 centres in the district, including 7 in Mysuru city.
A total of 7,350 students have registered for the exam in the district. Students who failed in the exam held in March this year and repeaters of previous years are appearing for this exam, which concludes on June 3. The centres in the city are: Sarada Vilas College in Krishnamurthypuram, D. Banumaiah’s College on Sayyaji Rao road, Maharaja PU College on JLB road, Maharani’s College, St. Philomena’s College in Bannimantap, Mahajana College in Jayalakshmipuram and JSS PU College in Saraswathipuram.
The city Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts. radius around all the exam centres for ensuring peaceful and smooth conduct of the exam. Also, all photocopy shops in the vicinity have been asked to shut down on all dates of the exam.
