IIFL Wealth Invitational FALDO Series India Qualifier Golf Tournament: City’s Pranavi Urs emerges overall winner

The winners in different categories in the IILF Wealth Invitational FALDO Series India Qualifier Golf Championship held at KGA, Bengaluru on Thursday (standing from left) Surya Kumar, Rahul Ajay, Harshjeet, Taninka Singh, Paramjit Singh (Chief Referee) & Pranavi S. Urs (Overall winner).

City’s talented golfer Pranavi S. Urs of JWGC taking part in the IIFL Wealth Invitational FALDO Series India Qualifier Golf Tournament played at KGA, Bengaluru from Jan. 8-11emerged as the overall winners in the girls section with a three-day aggregate score of 223 (73+71+79)    yesterday.

Pranavi S. Urs also won the girls U-16 title with her excellent performance. Anika Verma finished runner-up with a three-day card of 223 (73+74+76). Sifat Sagoo secured the third place with a three-day aggregate score of 230 (73+78+79).

Mysuru’s Neeharika Thangamma (JWGC), secured the eighth place with a three-day card of 246 (81+82+83), while another upcoming golfer from Mysuru, Disha Kauvery (JWGC), finished ninth with a three-day card of 247 (77+86+84) in the girls U-16 section.

Taninka Singh won the girls U-21 title with a three-day card of 232 (80+74+78). K. Surya Kumar won the title in the boys U-21 section with a three-day card of 224 (73+78+73). Rahul Ajay won the boys U-18 title with a three-day aggregate score of 225 (77+77+71). Harshjeet Singh Sethie won the title in the Boys U-16 section with a three-day card of 225  (72+77+76).
