Mysuru: Indian Medical Association (IMA), Mysuru, has organised a programme to mark Doctor’s Day on July 1 at 7 pm at Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC) in city.
On the occasion, the Association will be honouring IMA doctor’s children who are toppers in SSLC/PUC or CBSE/ICSE or different Boards. ‘Vaidya Bhaskara Award’
As part of Doctor’s Day, Ayurveda Prachara Parishat Trust will be presenting ‘Vaidya Bhaskara Award’ to five Doctors at a function to be held at Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city on July 1 at 10.15 am. MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the programme. Retired VC of Kuvempu University Prof. P. Venkataramaiah will present the Award.
Health and Family Welfare Department Retired Director Dr. D. Thimmaiah will unveil Dr. B.C. Roy’s portrait on the occasion. Former Syndicate Member of University of Mysore H.A. Venkatesh will preside.
Sandhya Suraksha Trust President B.R. Nataraj Jois, Dharmadarshi P. Shantharaje Urs and Kaustubha Pathrike Editor Rathna Halappa Gowda will be the chief guests, according to a press release.
