Inauguration of ‘Taayiya Madilu’ Kuteera atop Chamundi Hill on Jan. 3

Mysuru: ‘Taayiya Madilu’ Kuteera, a breastfeeding facility for lactating mothers, established by Inner Wheel Club of Mysore Gold atop Chamundi Hill, will start functioning from Jan. 3, 2025.

Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Club President Prema Ravi said that Chamundi Hill Gram Panchayat President Nagarathna will inaugurate the facility atop Chamundi Hill at 10.30 am on Jan. 3.

Pointing out that the Kuteera, which helps lactating mothers to breast feed their infants in complete privacy, has been established next to the Police Outpost atop the Hill at a cost of Rs. 40,000, she said that the facility will enable three lactating mothers to feed their infants at a time.

Prema Ravi appealed the lactating mothers visiting the Hill Temple to make use of this facility for breastfeeding their infants in total privacy.

Anjali, Uma Anil, Nalini and Pratibha were present at the press meet.
