Mysuru lads S.D. Prajwal Dev and Suraj R. Prabodh, representing India in the India F3 Futures $15,000 Men’s Tennis Tournament’s qualifying rounds in the Men’s Singles event, won their respective first round ties and moved into the final round, at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Club’s courts, Chandigarh, yesterday.
Prajwal Dev scored a well-earned 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win over Indian Abhishek Gaur, while third-seed Suraj Prabodh beat USA’s Jarryd Woog 6-7 (7), 6-3, 7-6 (4) to progress further.
In the final qualifying round, Prajwal Dev will take on India’s Siddharth Vishwakarma, while Suraj will meet Linh Giang Triah today.
