Mysuru lads C.Vasisht and S.D. Prajwal Dev, teaming up well, won their pre-quarterfinal Men’s Doubles tie and entered the last eight stage in the India F5 $15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament played at KSLTA Courts in Bengaluru on yesterday.

Vasisht and Prajwal beat Arjun Mariappa (USA) & Dhakshineshwar Suresh 7-6 (4), 6-3 to enter the quarter-finals.

In another pre-quarter-final tie, top-seeds N. Sriram Balaji & Vishnu Vardhan beat Suraj R. Prabodh & B.R. Nikshep 6-1, 6-3.

In the Men’s Singles first round, Karunuday Singh of India beat wild card entrant C. Vasisht 3-6,6-3, 6-4.
