‘India March for Science’ in Mysuru and B’luru tomorrow

Mysuru: Breakthrough Science Society, as a part of its nation-wide ‘India March for Science’ event, will organise a march in Mysuru tomorrow on (Aug. 9) at 11 am. The march will begin from Ramaswamy Circle and culminate at Vishwamanava Park near Gun House. The Society has asked all science enthusiasts, students and teachers to participate in event.

Similar march has been organised from Town Hall in Bengaluru to Bangalore University Senate Hall. Prof. Dipankar Chatterjee (Chairman, MBG, JNCASR) will preside over the meeting at the Senate Hall.

The march will be flagged of by Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Japhet at 11 am. More than 500 scientists and research scholars have extended their support to the event. Thousands of scientists, PG students, research scholars, school and college students, and general public will join the march in Bengaluru. Many dignitaries and scientists will address the gathering.
