All India Milli Council to celebrate Silver Jubilee in city

Mysuru:  The Silver Jubilee function and Annual General Body Meeting of All India Milli Council (AIMC) will be held at Hotel Regenta on Nelson Mandela Road, opposite KSRTC Depot in Bannimantap here from Feb. 23 to 25.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan this morning, A.M. Hazrath Moulana Hakeem Abdulla Mughaisi, President, AIMC, said that due to deterioration in communal harmony All India Milli Council was constituted 25 years ago and today we celebrating the Silver Jubilee in this cultural city.

“We always struggle for maintaining communal harmony and peace in the country and in future also we will fight against communal forces and work for the welfare of women and the downtrodden.”

Dr. Manzoor Alam, General Secretary, AIMC, New Delhi, also spoke.

Meanwhile, Ulemas have arrived in city to take part in the celebrations which will have different sessions for students, women, traders and advocates at Siddiqia Arabic College and Hotel Regenta.

A public function titled “Save Constitution, Build Nation” will be held on Feb. 25 at 6 pm at Meelad Bagh, Ashoka road.

Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Zaka Ulla Saheb Siddiqui, President, AIMC Mysuru District Unit, K.C Shoukath Pasha, General Secretary and Corporator,  AIMC Mysuru, Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Naseem Saheb Rishadi, Hazrath Moulana Ibrahim, Hazrath Moulana Qari Fayaz Ahmed, Ariff A. Mehkri, Chairman, Mysuru District Waqf Advisory Committee, Syed Akram Pasha, Member, Mysuru District Waqf Advisory Committee are supervising the arrangements under the guidance of Minister Tanveer Sait.
