All India Women Empowerment Party comes into existence

Mysuru:  Aimed at working towards women welfare and development, All India Women Empowerment Party (AIWEP) has come  into existence.

Announcing this at a press meet in city recently, the new party’s District President Shariff said that the party has set up office on eighth cross, Shivaji Road, N.R. Mohalla.

More than 1,000 people with over half of them women, have taken membership of the party.

The party has begun the process of fielding candidates in all the 224 Assembly segments of the city, he said and added that measures will be taken to popularise the party by undertaking door-to-door visits.

The party district office-bearers Mangala Gowri, Rajneesh, Indira and Ayub were present during    the press meet.
