Indian team announced for T20 series against Kiwis

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a 16-member team for the upcoming three-match T20 series against New Zealand, this morning.

The senior men’s selection committee has named Mumbai opener Shreyas Iyer and Hyderabad Opener Mohammed Siraj, who have made it to the team for the first time. Ashish Nehra has been named in the squad only for the first game following his announcement to retire after the first T20 game in Delhi.

Squad: Virat Kohli (C) Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, K.L. Rahul, Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra (1st T20I), Mohammad Siraj.
