New Delhi: The President of Indian Newspaper Society (INS) Akila Urankar has in a press release condemned the senseless slaying of journalist Shantanu Bhowmick in Tripura, while he was discharging his duties.
The INS has urged the Government of Tripura to bring the culprits to book and put in place a mechanism to ensure journalists perform their duties without fear or hindrance.
