New Delhi: An eight-member delegation of Indian Newspaper Society (INS), representing Big, Medium and Small newspapers led by INS President Akila Urankar, called upon Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and apprised her about the problems faced by the Print Media.
The delegation apprised the Minister on the rising prices of Newsprint and declining advertisement volumes.
The delegation requested the Minister for interim relief in government advertising rates for which the Minister promised to have the issue examined, according to a release from INS.
