Install ‘No Entry’ board at Mall near K.R. Circle

Sir,

During early years of opening of Garuda Mall on Albert Victor (AV) Road near K.R. Circle, cars were allowed to enter the basement of the Mall to park during shopping. Of late the entrance of the parking lot has been shifted to the road behind the Mall.

However, even today many cars try to enter from AV Road side and the security guards present there are redirecting them towards new entrance. This is leading to traffic jam at the Circle as the vehicles that enter the Mall have to take reverse and go towards Chamaraja Circle.

This is causing pile-up of the vehicles and  the pile-up is reaching up to the Circle depending on the number of vehicles and blocking free movement of vehicles at K.R. Circle.

Hence, the authorities concerned are requested to erect a ‘No Entry’ signboard near the Mall entrance on AV Road to facilitate free movement of vehicles. Added to this, parking of the vehicles (cars and autos) in spite of ‘no parking’ board on this stretch is also adding to traffic jams on AV Road and also at the busy K.R. Circle.
