I am a resident of Trendz Whispering Woods, opposite Dasanakoppal main gate. I would like to share my concerns regarding the lack of streetlights beyond Brigade Palm Grove, Bogadi. This issue has been affecting residents for a long period of time.
There are many situations where auto drivers are refusing to come to this part because of the darkness in this area during night time. We will not even know if a dog or a snake is standing there and could bite us. It is raising a lot of concerns among the public.
Despite the developments that have taken place, why are there no streetlights? Many commercial and small-scale industries are coming here to do business.
Even though there are small lights, they are only focusing on one particular area and there are lights at some junctions. It is causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents living here.
Besides that, it is said that the international cricket stadium is going to be established in Huyilalu village.
If such massive infrastructural development can take place, then why not a small development for the safety of the citizens? It will be a huge help to the general public.
I request SOM to bring this issue to the notice of the Mysuru Development Authority (MDA)and address my concerns regarding this issue.
