Mysore/Mysuru: The installation of Interact Club was conducted at Ideal Jawa Rotary School in city recently.
Rotary Mysore President Rtn. Arun Belawadi was the chief guest. Youth Service Director Rtn. Sameer Kashyap was the guest of honour. Chairman Rtn. MCS Manohara and Principal Shilpa Prashant were also present.
Prajna of 9th R1 was the MC. The programme began with students of Grade 9 leading the prayer; Umme Sara and Chinmayi of Grades 9 & 10 delivered the welcome speech. The guests inducted the office-bearers of the newly formed Interact Club for the year 2023-24.
The newly elected members of Interact Club are: Shivani – President, Mohammed Shahid Pasha – Secretary, Shravan – Treasurer. After the leaders were inducted, the oath was taken under the guidance of Rtn. Sameer Kashyap.
Following this programme, in association with Rotary Mysore, the Community Service Director Gautham Salecha, along with the Hon. Secretary Rtn. Chetan Vishwanath, had arranged an eye camp for the students of Ideal Jawa Rotary School, free of cost, in the school campus.
The expenditure for the procurement of spectacles for the children, who need them, will be taken care of by Rotary Mysore.
