The Food and Civil Supplies Department has launched an instant Ration Card issuance drive in the city till Mar.11 for online applicants. The cards will be issued upon submission of a copy of the online application, income certificate and aadhaar card by a major member (above 18 years) of the family of the applicant. The ration cards are issued for applicants from MCC Wards 1 to 14 and 24 at the MCC Zonal office, near Jayanagar Railway Gate (contact B.C. Mohan  – 94483-43509) for applicants from MCC Wards 15 to 23 and 25 to 33 at MCC Zonal Office, opposite Vidyavardhaka College on Seshadri Iyer Road (contact M.S. Anasuya – 99451-81156) for applicants from MCC Wards 34 to 41 and 49 to 64 at MCC Zonal office, opposite Vidyavardhaka College on Seshadri Iyer Road (contact T.J. Lakshmi – 81233-77872) and for applicants from MCC Wards. 50, 54 to 63 and 65 at MCC Zonal Office at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry near Hotel Metropole Circle (contact C.S. Lakshmi-99728-29719), between 10 am and 5.30 pm on all days (except public holidays) till Mar.11.
