A three-day Inter-Collegiate Literary and Cultural Meet of University of Mysore (UoM) will take place from Dec. 8 under the aegis of the University’s Directorate of Student Welfare.

The meet will be inaugurated at Humanities Block in Mana- sagangothri campus at 10.30 am tomorrow.

The meet features a total of 26 contests in a variety of Literary and Cultural activities. Hundreds of students from 7 constituent and 227 affiliated colleges, 85 Post-Graduate Departments and 3 Post-Graduate Centres of the University will take part.

The valedictory will take place at the EMRC auditorium, Manasagangothri at 4 pm on Dec.10. The winners of the contest will become eligible for taking part in the South Zone and National Yuvajanotsava meets to be conducted by the Association of Indian Universities,  according to a press release from the Director of Student Welfare, UoM.
