Mysuru: Mysore Chess Centre has organised Inter-School Chess Tournament 2026 on Jan. 18 at Silicon City International School, Mysuru.

The tournament aims to promote chess among school students and encourage logical thinking, concentration, decision-making and sportsmanship at an early age. The event will bring together talented young chess players from various schools across Mysuru and surrounding regions. The competition will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the Karnataka State Chess Association (KSCA) and will be organised as a KSCA-recognised event, ensuring fair play and professional standards.

Tournament Categories — Category A: Students from 1st to 4th Grade; Category B: Students from 5th to 7th; Category C: Students from 8th to 10th Grade.
