Mysuru: As part of ‘Women’s Heart-Day’ celebration,’ Columbia Asia Hospital, Mysuru in association with Cardiological Society of India (CSI) Mysuru Chapter, conducted an interschool Health Quiz for the students of Class 8 and 9 recently.
The objective of the quiz was to educate young minds about the symptoms of heart diseases and sensitise them about the women’s heart disease and the need to take care of one’s heart by leading a healthy lifestyle.
The audience included enthusiastic parents, teachers and students. The competition also had an audience round and prelims before the selection of the six finalists for the stage round.
Forty four teams with 88 participants from NPS International, Sadvidya, St. Josephs School Bannimantap, St. Josephs Yelwal, Navkis, Shishkarani School, Mysore Public School, KNC International, Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Baden Powel School, St. Arnold School and St. Vincent Convent participated in the competition.
Dhyan and Suhas from Sadvidya School, emerged as the winners followed by Likitha and Ishani from St. Joseph’s School, Yelwal as the Runner-Up.
