Mysuru: Bishop Zacharias Dr. Mar Theophilus Memorial Inter-School Essay writing competition for School Teachers will be held at St. Thomas School  in city on Aug.31 (Saturday) in connection with Teacher’s Day celebration.  

All the teachers across the Mysuru city can take part in the competition. The prizes for the same will be Rs.3,000, Rs.2,000 and Rs.1,000 for securing I, II and III places respectively. 

One amongst the following topics will be chosen on the spot for the competition: 

1. Social Media and its impact on Education.

2. Challenges and possibilities of National Education  Policy 2019.

3. Education is not filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire (W.B. Yeats) – Discuss.

4. Merit and demerits of cashless economy.

5. ‘A good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge’ – Explore.
