Mysuru: District Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Samvahana Publishers together had organised an interaction on book ‘Cauvery Jalavivada’ written by Arjunahalli Prasanna Kumar at Maneyangala in Kalamandira here this morning.

Inaugurating the programme, littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) opined that ‘Cauvery Jalavivada’ has revealed startling facts. He said that the author has unravelled many interesting facts and figures and added that the book can qualify for a research thesis. He appreciated the author in revealing the political failures in the water row. He added that the bone of contention between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has been vividly brought out in the book.

Kannada Sahitya Parishat Mysuru President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna presided. Former President of the Parishat M. Chandrashekar, writers A.S. Nagaraj, Gubbigudu Ramesh, publisher D.N. Lokappa,  Arjunahalli Prasanna Kumar and others were present.
