Mysore/Mysuru: Pavan Ranga, Director of NR Group and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rangsons Areospace, has given a clarion call for changing our present mindset to bring in industrial revolution in the country.
He was speaking after inaugurating an interaction session with students organised at JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ooty road in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Industry Interaction Panel, Mysuru Chapter here recently.
Pavan Ranga said “India is progressing by adapting to changes, underlining the significance of self-reliance to contribute to the country’s progress. It is evident with the concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat. To achieve better progress in industrial sector, we have to change our mindset first and involve in innovations and inventions.”
“One should not forget that, knowledge is great and a best tool, which should be utilised in a better way. We should think over being strong and self-reliant in all the ways, as several skills are essential to lead a life of self-reliance. Our academic achievements should be aimed at realising the goal,” he added. Post-Graduation is a platform to learn, using which we should plan to acquire required education and skills to reach our future aim, advised Pavan Ranga.
Dr. M. Dharma Prasad, CEO & Chief Scientist, Prosetta Bioconformatics Pvt. Ltd. said that the industrial revolution is progressing in different stages and one should have a better understanding of its history. Science and Technology is witnessing timely changes that should be put to use judiciously, he added.
Presiding over the programme, Chief Executive of the College Prof. B.V. Sambashivaiah said, in keeping pace with the aspirations of Government of India, several efforts are being made towards expanding the possibilities of skill development. The country aims to possess enormous skills with quality in several aspects. The majority of workforce consists of 65 percent of youths and the country has bigger plans to use the manpower in a judicious manner, which is beneficial to achieve economic progress of the country.
