Bylakuppe: The Indo-Tibetan Bylakuppe Chapter had an interaction meeting with the President of Central Tibetan Administration Sikyong Penpa Tsering at Bylakuppe recently .
President of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society (ITFS) Javare Gowda welcomed the President Penpa Tsering, Chief Representative Jigme, Settlement Officers Lobsang Yashi, Chime and all the members.
The Secretary read out the activity report of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society.
In his address, Penpa Tsering expressed that though he is physically a Tibetan, mentally an Indian, he was also very much a Kannadiga.
Stating that a cordial relationship with local Indians is very much essential, he said the Tibetans have a great responsibility of looking after all the Tibetan Camps in India.
There is a Core Group for Tibetan Support Groups which will guide all the chapters in India, he said adding that we have to create awareness about Tibetan cause and address the issue in institutions, he added.
