Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Shobith Rangappa, Director of Adichunchanagiri Institute for Molecular Medicine, Adichunchanagiri University, Nagamangala, has been awarded with JASSO Fellowship from the Japanese Government.
As a part of this fellowship, Dr. Shobith has been allowed to take part in ongoing research work for the span of 90 days at the Hokkaido University, Japan. Prof. Hiroshi Hinou will host Dr. Shobith during his stay in Japan.
JASSO Fellowship is given in recognition of extraordinary research work done by an international scientist who is a alumnus of the University of Japan.
Dr. Shobith has published more than 75 papers in internationally reputed journals and holds 5 patents in the field of cancer drug discovery.
Dr. Shobith is the son of Prof. K.S. Rangappa, former Vice-Chancellor of KSOU and University of Mysore.
