Mysuru: The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce, Teresian College, is organising a two-day International Conference on Dynamics of Entrepreneurship on Nov.27 and 28 at its Ave Maria Golden Jubilee Auditorium in Siddarthanagar.
Around 500 delegates including academicians, entrepreneurs, research scholars and post-graduate students are expected to attend the Conference which focuses on dynamics and challenges of entrepreneurship. Though youths prefer secured job, there is a dire need for risk-takers. An effort is being made to bring the theoretical concepts and practicalities of entrepreneurship under one roof, as this is a dynamic and evolving topic of interest for both academicians and entrepreneurs.
Resource persons, speakers and panellists from India, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Egypt and USA will share their viewpoints during the Conference. Topics like Deciphering the World of Entrepreneurship; Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Needs and Challenges; Ground Zero: Starting as an Entrepreneur; and Support System for Entrepreneurs will be covered. A cultural programme has also been organised.
The Conference will be inaugurated by former Chief Secretary of Karnataka Dr. J. Alexander tomorrow at 10 am while the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. A. Chamaru De Alwis, Professor from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
The valedictory address will be delivered by Dr. B. H. Suresh, Professor, University of Mysore, on Nov.28 at 4 pm. The International Conference is supported by Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and District Industries Centre, according to a press release from Dr. Veena M. D’Almeida, Principal and Dr. P.M.
