Mysore/Mysuru: MICA College, Mysuru, has been stressing skill development for students along with regular academic activities since its inception in 2012.

The College organises seminars, conferences, training sessions, sports tournaments, intra- and inter-college management fests, guest lecture series, industrial visits and excursions, to name a few.

MICA is the only College in city to be learning partners with both Infosys Springboard and IBM SkillsBuild. Through its partners, MICA extends certification and training programmes.

In the academic year 2022-23, SoniThimmaiah, Varshitha, AuishreeMukarjee, C. Anusha, A.J. Nischal and Samarth Rajkumar interned at Kalisu, a non-profit organisation, as teacher interns under the guidance of Nikilesh. They taught Government School children and helped them with math &english.

As a mark of appreciation, Kalisu Foundation organised an internship Graduation ceremony at MICA recently.

Kalisu Foundation Ambassador YaduveerKrishnadattaChamaraja Wadiyar handed over certificates to interns. Yaduveer shared his views on leadership, free time, books and education.
