Intimidation to IAS Officer C. Shikha: Court adjourns hearing to Aug. 31

Mysore/Mysuru: A City Court has adjourned the hearing in the case where IAS Officer C. Shikha, while serving as Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) in 2016, was threatened by Congress leader K. Marigowda, to Aug. 31.

Shikha had registered a case against Congress leader and former Mysuru ZP President K. Marigowda for threatening her in public during an event attended by the then Chief Minister Siddharamaiah in Mysuru in 2016.

The case (CC No. 1358/2016) came up for hearing at the  city’s Third Civil Court on Tuesday. But as Marigowda and two others accused in the case failed to appear, the Advocate representing them requested for an adjournment, following which the Court posted the next hearing to Aug. 31.
