Mysore/Mysuru: A body of a man was found floating in Varuna Canal near Rammanahalli yesterday morning.
The deceased has been identified as S. Ravindra (42), a mechanic at a vehicle showroom in city and a resident of Belagola village in Srirangapatna taluk.
KRS Police, who have registered a case, said that it is not known whether Ravindra committed suicide or accidentally fell into the canal and drowned.
The body was cremated yesterday afternoon at Belagola village.
