Intl. Art Meet expo at Bharath Cancer Hospital tomorrow

November 22, 2024

Mysuru: An exclusive preview of the International Art Meet (IAM) 2024 exhibition will be held on Nov. 23 from 11 am to 5 pm at Bharath Hospital & Institute of Oncology (BHIO) in Hebbal here.

Organised by Swasti Art Gallery, Bhagya Ajaikumar, and Dimension4, the exhibition will showcase the works of international artists who participated in the International Art Meet held at BHIO in  Mysuru  from Nov. 14 to 23, 2024.

The art camp, which spanned from Nov. 14 to 23, brought together artists not only from across India but also from global locations including Argentina, Germany, Malaysia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Romania, and Taiwan. These artists have spent the past week creating unique works of art. On Nov. 23, all the artworks created during the camp will be on display at Bharath Hospital from 10 am to 5 pm. The exhibition is open to the public, and entry is free.

This exhibition presents a wonderful opportunity for art enthusiasts to view and purchase exceptional artworks. Importantly, all proceeds from the sale of these works will be donated to the HCG Foundation, which supports cancer patients in need of medical care.

In addition to the Mysuru preview, an exclusive preview of the exhibition will be held in                                                  Bengaluru on Nov. 24. The artworks will then be displayed at the Swasti Contemporary                         Art Gallery in Bengaluru starting Nov. 25.

Founded in 2007, Swasti Contemporary Art Gallery is part of the HCG Foundation’s initiative to promote art while raising funds for cancer care. The gallery serves as a platform for organising art exhibitions, camps and workshops, fostering cultural exchange among artists from around the world. So far, approximately 4,500 patients have benefited from the support provided by the HCG Foundation and Swasti Contemporary Art Gallery.
