Mysuru: The Department of Studies in Computer Science, University of Mysore (UoM) in association with University Computer Science Alumni Association, has organised a two-day International Conference on ‘Data Analytics and Learning-2018’ on Mar. 30 and 31 at Vijnana Bhavan auditorium, Manasagangothri.
The conference will be inaugurated tomorrow at 10 am by Padma Shri Prof. Sankar K. Pal, Distinguished Scientist and former Director of ISI, Kolkata. Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Director of IIIT Allahabad, will release the digital proceedings. Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will be felicitated for receiving Millennium Plaques of Honour, a Prime Minister’s award. Prof. C. Basavaraju, In-Charge VC of UoM, will preside.About 40 researchers will be submitting their research works and about six scientists will be delivering lectures. Vasudeva Rao, Head, Automotive, L&T Technology Services Ltd., Bengaluru, will deliver valedictory address on Mar. 31 at 4.30 pm. Prof. K. Chidananda Gowda, former VC of Kuvempu University, will be the chief guest. UoM Registrar D. Bharathi will preside.
